About me

Data engineering, database administration, and teaching.

I started in database administration and data analysis at the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kosovo. I later taught at UBT and coordinated information systems. At Kosovo ICT Support, I trained people in Python, SQL, Big Data, and cloud technologies.

I now work as a Data Engineer at Raiffeisen Tech Kosovo / Raiffeisen Bank International. I develop ETL jobs, work with Databricks and AWS, and help keep data processing jobs running.

Alongside my engineering work, I have taught data and cloud technologies and helped teams troubleshoot technical issues.

I work on data pipelines and ETL jobs using Java, Python, SQL, Databricks, and AWS. My responsibilities include data processing, job scheduling, deployments, and troubleshooting.

  • I migrated ETL pipelines from IBM DataStage to RabbitETL and developed jobs to process data across multiple Oracle databases.
  • I use Databricks and Apache Airflow to manage data workflows, with AWS S3 for storage and Redshift for analytics.
  • I schedule jobs with UC4 and investigate ETL and system failures.
  • I built CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and GitHub Actions.

Business Data Analysis in Kosovo

I analyzed business data from Kosovo for a conference presentation.

What I didI cleaned and analyzed data in Python, used MongoDB and MySQL for storage, and presented the results using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

IoT Data Acquisition with Raspberry Pi & Apache Cassandra

I collected sensor data from a solar panel using a Raspberry Pi.

What I didI designed the sensor circuit, wrote the Python data collection program, and connected it to Apache Cassandra. The case study used a 250 W solar module.
